A storage area in Sweden
| The idea for this site popped into my head when I was
looking at some posts in August 2003, on the newsgroup rec.games.pinball.
There was a post called "Identify these EMs. I DARE YOU!" I emailed Don
Hopkin, the guy who posted these pics, asking for permission to use them
for a Halloween themed pin site, and this page was born.
Although this is supposed to be a pinball themed site, I'm going to cheat a bit here and allow other trashed or neglected arcade equipment images. I'm looking especially for trashed EM racing, shooting games, but even trashed video game images will do. If YOU have anything to contribute, PLEASE email something to me. If I can get enough people to pitch in, I think this will be a really cool site. |
| The following images are from Don Hopkin, the guy that contributed these first images to this site. Don told me these remains are in an abandoned camp ground across the street from Farrells Country Store in Brainard NY. They are located just behind the pavillion. They're basically impossible to find unless you happened upon them or knew they were there from years ago. |

But something lives inside! |

The remains of a Gottlieb and a Williams pin.
|
Can you identify this Gottlieb from just looking at the playfield plastics? Look closely and you will see three are still intact. But see below.....
|
Looks like the cabinet will need just a little TLC. |
and the winner is Royal Guard or Palace Guard, or possibly Elite Guard (an export to Italy), all Gottlieb, 1968 |
