The York Show 2007

I had some help trying to track down the right parts.

Success!

The parts are for a project Exhibit "Sky Blazer" pin, which I bought at The York Show in 2006.

My show "survival kit" always includes a tape dispenser, box cutter, cardboard, and blankets.

Homer was all excited because...

it was almost 10 AM, which is when the doors open.

I found a couple of Williams classics.  Travel Time has a clock mechanism on the playfield that controls length of play.  TRIVIA:  This pin has been seen on "That '70s Show" during several episodes, and an episode of "Quantum Leap."

My favorite Williams EM's are the ones from the late 60's/early 70's. This Steve Kordek classic features backglass animation inside a small football grid. You can score points and goals, which I think makes the game more challenging.

There were plenty of other pins to choose from.

Jungle Lord is one of my favorite Williams solid state pins. I haven't played one in years, so it was great this game showed up at The York Show.

Jungle Lord is quite similar to Black Knight, but without the pop bumper. However, the top left part of the playfield features a miniature pachinko playfield.  It has sounds also used in Joust, and some speech. This was one of three pins I considered buying at the show.  It was a tough choice, but I ended up taking home a "Meteor" pin, and it will never be for sale.

So many pins...so little time.

This Star Trek pin was released around the time of Star Trek: The Motion Picture.
