The York Show 2009

On Friday, October 9, 2009, it was time to check out the one and only White Rose Gameroom Show (aka The York Show), which took place on Friday and Saturday, as it does every year. This was the 13th York Show.

There was quite an assortment of pins to play, ranging from the 1930's to the present, as you will see from my pics inside the show.

Check out The York Show's official site HERE for more information about the show.

See you at the show!  Pingeek

Around 2 pm on Thursday, set up day, this was the first pin I noticed that was ready for the show.

The cabinet was in great shape.

The Internet Pinball Database says there were only 900 of these produced.

Here's a shot of the back of the game. I overlooked getting a shot of this game's playfield, however...

there was also this classic, which has the same playfield layout, and was actually produced a few months before "World Beauties."

This game also has roto targets behind the backglass, but as you can see, the artwork and theme are different.

Here's a shot of the playfield.

I found another rare card themed woodrail at the show.

This playfield is in great shape, unlike one I saw on Ebay a few years ago, with lots of wear, and badly melted plastics.

I played this Williams' Blackjack pin for the first time at this show in 2004.

Other Williams' pins which use the "card score" reel feature are "Club House" and "21." Notice to the right of the card score, you can see the word, "BUST."

Here's a shot of the playfield.

Here's a shot of the unique cabinet, including the vintage tv cabinet style legs.

The Internet Pinball Database mentions that there were only 2,200 of these produced.
