TIMELINE ARCADE
HANOVER, PA
| On Tuesday, November 1, 2011, I was at Timeline Arcade,
located at the North Hanover Mall, 1155 Carlisle Street, in Hanover, PA
17331, for their first day of business. This arcade has a unique retro 80's classic arcade feel, offering a diverse selection of videogames and pins to play, as you will see from the pics. It's definitely worth checking out. While at the mall, check out "Jerry And Sal's Pizza." Also, this mall has a Radio Shack. I managed to find two bridge rectifiers there. If you need some spare fuses, that might be worth checking out there as well. Mapquest can help with directions to the mall. Check out Timeline Arcade's website HERE for more information, including links to Facebook and Twitter. This arcade was in an article in The Evening Sun on October 29, 2011, which you can read HERE. Timeline Arcade was also mentioned in an article published in the Carroll County Times on November 4, 2011, which you can read HERE. Also, more games arrived since I was at Timeline, including "Capcom Bowling," "Space Harrier," "Star Wars," "Time Crisis 2," "Outrun" (moving cockpit version), "Galaga," and "Goonies." "Ms. Pac-Man," although not pictured, is also at the arcade. Also, the Neo Geo machine has been updated to play 100 games, and Galaga has 60 games in 1. |

Leaving Richmond, VA, heavy rain, then crossing into Maryland, rain changed to snow. |
On route 30, heading into York, PA, it was a winter wonderland, on Halloween weekend. |
|
This is what The Weather Channel showed around 1:30 pm. |
What a mess. |
|
Glad I brought some Prestone De-Icer with me. |
Still cold for Sunday, but at least the snow would be moving out.

Sunday around noon, it was time to head to Strasburg, PA, to check out The Choo Choo Barn. This picture shows just a small portion of the most awesome model train set up I have ever witnessed. |
The next stop was The Strasburg Rail Road, featuring a scenic ride through Amish Country. |
Monday, October 31st, the day before Timeline Arcade opens for business, and I was there. The arcade, by the way, is located beside JCPenney. |
Yep, tomorrow:) |

This was my first look at this brand new arcade, including this "Flash" pin, which is for sale. Notice to the left, air hockey. |
Here's a better view of the air hockey game. |
