| This is where you get the games: Pinball shows. Arcade
related auctions are ok too, but the selection might be limited. However,
I attended an auction in December, 2006, here in Richmond, VA. You

Since I started this site back in 2001, there have been several new shows and tournaments popping up. Be sure to check out my links at the bottom. The Allentown Pinball Wizard's Convention, Allentown, PA is about 6 hours from Richmond, VA. The show usually takes place around the first weekend in May. Saturday is the biggest day. Over 100 pins are set up for free play inside and a decent size flea market outside. Flea markets are the most fun, since you have no idea what you will find, mostly unshopped, but usually salvageable. The White Rose Pinball Classic (The York Show) in York, PA is about 4 hours from Richmond, VA. This show usually takes place during the second weekend of October. Saturday is the biggest day for this show too. Over 100 pins set up for free play inside, along with some video games, air hockey, etc. Their flea market is worth it too. You'll never know what you will find. This show has grown a lot since I first attended back in 2000. It's really worth the trip, coming from someone who hates to travel. |
